Puzzlegram Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of the Puzzlegram application and related services ("Service"), operated by Puzzlegram ("we," "us"). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Content Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use features that upload content or interact with other users. Younger children may use the Service only in local-only mode under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; see the Privacy Policy.
3. The Service
Puzzlegram lets you create puzzles from your own photos, solve puzzles, and optionally share puzzles with people you choose. Core play works on your device. Uploading occurs only when you use features that require it (such as sharing), and only as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your Content
4.1 Ownership. You retain all rights to photos and content you create or upload ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership.
4.2 License to us. When you upload Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, process, scan, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service — including delivering shared puzzles to recipients you designate and performing automated and human safety review. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for content already shared with others to the extent they retain access, and except as required for legal compliance.
4.3 Your responsibility. You are solely responsible and liable for Your Content. By uploading, you represent and warrant that: (a) you own Your Content or have all rights and permissions necessary to upload and share it; (b) every identifiable person depicted has consented (or their parent/guardian has consented, for minors); and (c) Your Content does not violate the Content Policy or any law.
4.4 Consent to processing. You acknowledge and agree that uploaded content is transmitted to and stored on our servers and is automatically scanned by security and safety systems, and may be reviewed by human moderators, before or after distribution.
5. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The Content Policy lists prohibited content. Without limiting it: content that is illegal, that sexualizes or endangers minors, that depicts identifiable people without consent, or that infringes others' rights is prohibited. We may remove content, refuse distribution, suspend or terminate access, and where required report content to authorities (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or equivalent bodies) at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
6. Purchases
The Service may offer subscriptions, one-time purchases, and optional rewarded advertising. All purchases are processed by the app store from which you installed the Service and are subject to its terms. Except as required by law or expressly stated, purchases are non-refundable. Virtual items (including coins) have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be modified or discontinued.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT MODERATION WILL CATCH ALL PROHIBITED CONTENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL; (b) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; portions may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Puzzlegram and its founder, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law — including any claim that Your Content was uploaded or shared without necessary rights or consents.
10. Termination and Deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account and associated data in-app (Profile → Settings → Account & Privacy). We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Sections 4.3, 5, and 7–9 survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes lies in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law provides otherwise.
