Puzzlegram Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-10

1. Summary

Puzzlegram is designed to know as little about you as possible. You can play without creating an account and without providing your name, email, or any contact information. Your photos stay on your device unless you choose a feature that uploads them, and uploads are scanned for safety. You can delete everything, in-app, at any time.

2. What we collect

Anonymous player identity. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account identifier (a random ID). It contains no personal information and is not linked to your name, email, or phone number. It exists so your progress, rewards, and leaderboard entries work.

Photos you choose to upload. Photos are uploaded only when you use a feature that requires it — such as sharing a puzzle or setting a profile image. Solving puzzles you created does not upload your photos.

Gameplay data. Solve times, move counts, difficulty, streaks, ratings, earned rewards, and similar play statistics, linked to your anonymous identifier.

Purchase data. If you make a purchase, it is processed by the app store and our payments provider (RevenueCat). We receive purchase status, not your payment card details.

Device basics. Standard technical data needed to run the service (app version, device type, crash diagnostics).

3. What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location for anonymous play. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your photos to train AI models or for advertising.

4. How photos are processed

Uploaded photos are transmitted over encrypted connections, stored on our infrastructure (Supabase), and automatically scanned by safety systems before or after distribution. Flagged content may be reviewed by humans. Shared photos are visible only to people who receive your share link or group invitation. Photos are never made publicly searchable by us.

5. Children

Anonymous play collects no personal information, consistent with COPPA. Features that upload content require the user to be at least 13 (or older where local law requires). If we learn that personal information of a child under 13 was collected, we will delete it. Parents may contact us at the address below.

6. Retention and deletion

Data is retained while your account exists. You may at any time, in-app (Profile → Settings → Account & Privacy):

7. Sharing with third parties

We share data only with processors necessary to run the Service: Supabase (infrastructure and storage), RevenueCat (purchase management), and the app stores. If rewarded advertising is added, the ad provider and any associated data practices will be disclosed in this policy and in-app before activation. We disclose data if required by law, or to report prohibited content involving child safety to the appropriate authorities.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. The in-app export and deletion tools satisfy most requests instantly; for anything else, contact us.

10. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be communicated in-app before they take effect.
